Is the Maple Leaf brand safe?

I was just wondering, because I've heard that there's been a problem with the meat. I bought it a few days ago. I'm really scared because I ate it an hour ago since I didn't know. They said if anything happens, symptoms would start after a few weeks to a month. Would it affect me?

Maple Leaf has now recalled all products produced at their Toronto plant on Bartor Rd. Check the packages for the plant code 97b. Any Maple Leaf product with this code should be returned.
