Question:

Is the Moon Palace Resort Teen Friendly?

I've heard some great things about the Moon Palace as well as the other palace resorts, but I was wondering if there is going to be a lot of teens to hang out with there. I went to Club Med and had a blast, and even though it wasn't as nice as what the Moon Palace sounds, it was the people I met that made it so much fun. Even though there isn't a teen center or whatever, will there still be lots of kids from 14-18 to hang out with?

How about the other Palace resorts? Are any of them teen friendly?

  1. yep  it is also a teen resort

  2. Sounds to me like any teen would have a blast:

"The spectacular Moon Palace is the standard for all-inclusive luxury resorts in Cancun (or anywhere else for that matter). As the flagship resort of the Palace Resort family in Cancun, the Moon Palace features a list of services and amenities that would make any sibling a little envious: 123 acres of tropical greenery, nearly 2,000 feet of silky white beach, 2,103 air-conditioned rooms with double Jacuzzi, ten buffet and a la carte restaurants, seven bars including swim up bars, two oversized free style pools, one indoor pool, six tennis courts, two basketball courts, two fitness centers, miniature golf, a kids club, a discotheque, and a daily activities program with theme nights. And as if the Moon Palace weren't enough, there are three sister resorts nearby (Sun Palace, Beach Palace, and Cancun Palace) with which Moon Palace guests can share certain privileges. The stay-at-one, play-at-all Palace Resorts experience truly is like staying at several resorts for the price of one. Each Palace Resort offers a la carte restaurants, buffets and snack bars, all-inclusive unlimited meals and beverages, live music and entertainment, nightly theme parties and shows, many types of non-motorized water sports, and unlimited selected tours and other activities."

  3. I am a member of the Palace resorts, the sun, and aventura spa palace would be the only 2 to avoid as the are couples or adult only. The Moon palace is huge and offers a ton to do and the chance to meet alot of new people, the cancun palace and beach palace on the strip are also very nice and teen friendly, they are smaller than the moon so obviously less people to meet , but both awsome hotels.....You'll have a blast ...Enjoy....Just got back this past weekend ... weather was awsome ...maybe a little humid as it is heading into the rainy season , but sun for us every day.

  4. I stayed at the Moon Palace two years ago when I was 16. It is completely teen friendly, I had a blast. It's a really Americanized resort, so they tend to be really strict on drinking, you must be 18 to drink. But it's easy to get 18 year olds to get drinks for you. And everything is free, it's so much fun, they have so many activities, including an 18 and younger club and well as an 18 and over club. It's a great place to stay, I highly recommend it. I'm actually going back this friday and staying for week, and now that I"m 18 I can drink! I can't wait :]

As far as other palace resorts go, I know the beach palace is teen friendly. it's similar to the moon palace but it's much smaller. The only other palace resort i've been to is the Playacar palace, and it's teen friendly but does not offer nearly as many amenities as the moon palace.

  5. Is this resort in Mexico or Jamaica??
