Is the Morrow Mantra Snowboard a good board?

Im about to buy the Morrow Mantra Snowboard online for 165.00 but I would like to know if anyone thinks its a good board? I am a beginner to Intermediate level and I want to know if i should get it...I want a board that I can grow with..Help

  1. Well honestly I don't like the way those boards are made so I tend to stay away from them. However from a non-opinionated view it is a good make. I would buy it unless you see something else you like more.


  2. Morrow is a lower end board, but if you are not going to ride it that often it would probably be OK.

    Honestly, if you go to a pre-season sale (like the August - October Sniagrab at Sports Authority) you will be able to find a Ride, K2, or Burton board for around $150 to $200. I've done it several times for my kids and there are always even better deals on Women's boards.

    Why not rent a board this year and figure out exactly what you want and then buy a better board next fall?

    Edit: I just saw a Ride "Grace" board at Sports Authority for $150 - I think this is a better board than any Morrow board.
