Is the New UPZ Paintball Gladius Spyder Barrel 14" a good barrel for the Tippman 98 custom?

Im looking for a barrel under $25 that is still a good barrel. Also is the ACT platinum pro stock a good one?

I would just buy a J&J ceramic barrel for around $30, there much better and very accurate. As for the gun, yea its a good gun but why get a custom pro if your going to buy a new barrel anyways, just buy a stock 98 custom then upgrade the barrel, its cheaper.

No.  A "Spyder" barrel will not work with a 98 Custom.  The barrel you are inquiring is threaded for Spyder markers.  The only way it will work is if you buy a "Spyder to 98" barrel adapter.

You need to make sure you buy a barrel that is "98" threaded.

For the best performance to dollar, I recommend purchasing a J&J Performance Ceramic barrel (approx. $30.)
