Is the New York Knicks a "storied" franchise?

i saw an article calling the Knicks a "storied" franchise. how are the Knicks storied when they haven't won anything in almost 40 years? they've been in the NBA for 60+ years and won only two championships. how is that storied?

  1. They never said it was a good story.  lol.

    Sometimes they say that about franchises that have been around for a long time.  You could say the Red Sox or Cubs are storied franchises, even thought the Sox just started to win and the Cubs have yet to.


  2. probably cause its new york. also madison square garden is very famous, athletes always say theyre excited to perform there.
