Is the PAYE reference no. the same for two people who work for the same company?

I've just started with the same company as my father and I need the PAYE reference number now to complete an application for a house. This number is not printed on any payslips, however PAYE reference is printed on my father's P60. Will it be the same as mine?

Yes that number should be the same.  It is a single number assigned to your employer to identify the source of withholding taxes.
