Is the PC game "Civilization IV" worth buying?

I'm always hesitant to buy PC games, so I was wondering if Civilization IV is worth buying. Please explain. Thanks! Greatly appreciated

This depends on you, are you a person who likes TSB games, TSB means TURN BASED STRATEGY. TSB is similar to RTS games, but you must click the turn button everytime managing your cities, so its not considered live, and the wait for every turn gets longer when cities progress.
