  1. No!

    (and shame on the others for saying otherwise)

    Laptops use SODIMM RAM; 240 pin RAM is for desktops and not useable in laptops.  

    Laptop DDR2 uses 200 pin SODIMM (small outline dual in-line memory module) modules.  You can however go up to a DDR2 800mHz speed if you wish, but more than likly it will down clock to 667mHz if your dv6000 is using the Santa Rosa platform.

  3. you need PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM
