Is the PTR 91 (HK91 clone) as customizable as the G3

Question

The PTR 91 is a civilian clone of the G3 assault rifle. Does this clone actually perform like the G3, other than the fact that it is semi-auto only? Also, can the PTR 91 be customized so that I can change the fixed stock into a collapsable stock, and put a smaller barrel and handguard so that it resembles the G3KA4 carbine?

Yes to all of your answers. Buy one you wont regret it. The only difference I have noticed is the barrel doesn't taper to the flash suppressor like a G3 (HK91).

The PTR91 is an improvement on the HK91, in that it has a smoother trigger, and a heavy barrel. It also does not tend to spread it's groups as the barrel heats up like a tapered barrel HK91/G3 does. A modified gas system also reduces it's recoil to the level of an M14. The PTR91 is avalible from the factory with the carbine barrel and collapasable stock, or these can be purchased seperately and added to a standard rifle.
