Anyone have a paint pod and can say what they are like, and whether they make decorating easy, how messy are they, any drawbacks etc please? Money well spent, or waste of cash?

  1. you can't beat a good old fashioned painter and decorator. Mind you at least one of the paint pod thingies wouldn't keep wanting a cuppa tea.

  2. I bought a paint pod y'day and i have done my whole stairs and celing in 4hours and thats two coats.. They are fab and are £55 at the moment in focus. They do clean brill too a little noisy but thats to be expected. Go for it they really are good.. The only thing is the paint for it is £30 tho they are 5liters so the same price as 2 standard dulux tubs. Really no draw backs i would say no mess at ALL

  3. Money well spent !!! I bought one to redecorate my flat between tenants. Not only very quick but also no splash at all, I started with dust covers but ended up not bothering at all!! Yes you are restricted to buying the "pod" of paint which seems a little bit dear but the system uses far less paint than normal methods so probably works out cheaper than DIY centres own brand paints!

Does clean itself but I did have to do it a couple of times and it is extremely noisy - bad move when I put it on to clean at 10pm in a top floor flat as the neighbours must have heard it.

    Definitely worth buying!!
