  1. there is only one known virus for mac and you get that through ichat nobody writes viruses for mac because there is no point not enough people have macs im guesssing you switched from mac to pc but open it you will not get a virus

  2. "Pencil is an animation/drawing software for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. It lets you create traditional hand-drawn animation (cartoon) using both bitmap and vector graphics. Pencil is free and open source. "

The Mac is not immune to viruses, Trojans, backdoors, adware, spyware, and other nefarious applications.

For example, last May an independent developer revealed a proof-of-concept exploit in a Dashboard widget, but no malicious activities were reported as a result of the security hole. Within days, Apple had released a security update that fixed the problem.

It's pretty simple to understand why there are more viruses on Windows than on OS X: more people use Windows than OS X. Hackers generally target the biggest nail in order to reach a much larger audience.

There is no such thing as a "perfect" operating system. As more people move to mac computers, so do more hackeres exposing the security flaws.

  3. I think you might be confused. I've never heard of Pencil for the Mac, but I have heard of Paintbrush. It is a simple paint program like Paint on the PC and the very old MacPaint that used to come free on the Mac. It is a third party program, is free to use, and can be found in the Downloads section on the Apple website. Go for it!

  4. you won't get a virus on a mac
