What are the ratings of the Philippines as a Pilot training destination and what are the recognition of its CPL on the international?

  1. you don't say where you are........

    if you are in the UK, you can check with the CAA about transferability. Your hours will count if properly logged, but you would need to do the written papers here, and almost certainly the practical exam again. But assuming the training in the Philippines is good, none of that should be a problem and you would have saved a lot on the hours building.


  2. As a member-state of ICAO, Philippines license is recognized among other ICAO-member countries, but this fact doesn't mean that you are allowed to exercise your license flying non-philippine registered aircraft.

    To operate aircraft registered in other country, you need to have your license converted, or endorsed, into that particular country's license.

    Example, to fly aircraft with N-registration, you need to contact FAA (USA) to have your license converted. To fly aircraft with 9M-registration, you need to contact DGCA (Malaysia) to convert.

    Etc.
