At the recent Scotland Vs England Rugby Game Princess Anne, Princess Royal attended. She was standing on the Scottish stand singing the Scottish national Anthem "Flower Of Scotland" and sat in silence for Englands "God Save the Queen". She has always been known to be a more Scottish Royal. Maybe its the Scottish blood she has. Princess Ann is my favourite Royal as she is the only one who actually takes an interest in Scotland. For most Royal going to Scotland is to take a short Holiday/Vacation.

  1. She's a German, the same as the rest of them.

  2. The Princess Anne, Princess Royal is considered to be "British" since she is a member of the "British" royal family. The royal family is really a mix of everything including English, German, Scottish, Danish and French if you look through their family tree. Since they are not full-blooded "English" or "German" or "Scottish", this is probably the reason why they felt it was proper to refer the royal family as "British" rather than the "English" or "German" or "Scottish" royal family.

  3. She is English, but the Scottish love her. It is debated that if Scotland became independent from the rest of the UK, she would become the Scottish Queen.

  4. Princess Anne is part of the British Royal Family and was born in London, England.  Do keep in mind that England and Scotland are both part of the United Kingdom.

  5. I think that Mary Queen of the Scots would be proud of her but sorry she is part of the English(?) Or British Royal family!!!
