  1. It's been more than a 100 years of a constant assimilator punch. But we still standing. Now I live in a predominant Mexican-American place and I can tell you we are very different.

  4. Mexico & Puerto Rico are not really alike except for the fact that they both speak spanish & have spanish ancestory & are prodominently catholic.

    Puerto Rico is somewhat americanized because it is a commonwealth of the US. There is alot of american influence in Puerto Rico. But PR keeps their own culture as well. PR's culture is a mix of spanish(Spain), Taino(indians) & african cultures & later even irish, german, lebanese, chinese, etc. Really Puerto Rico has similarities & differences to other countries b/c they are a mix, but they are also unique.
