  1. No, stick to your boxer paquiao lol

  2. No, they don't.  You said it correctly, Filipino players don't have the height, and in basketball height is and will always be might.  And who are these new players that do have height? I haven't heard of them.  What the basketball honchos in the Philippines are proposing is the naturalization of talented foreign players, similar to the formula used in the 80's.  With that you can certainly assemble a tall team, but that, I think, is cheating any way you look at it even if it's allowed under FIBA rules.

I think Filipinos should stop dreaming of making it big in world basketball competitions.  Perhaps, they should just concentrate in Asia, and please, no more Fil-Ams and naturalized players.  Let homegrown talents do it.

  3. indeed the nba is in dire need of 5' 10" centers.

  4. Keep dreamin' boy...

  5. their future is in asia. i doubt they would even step on world stage like fiba or olympics. maybe in 20 to 30 years when they get the height. everyone claims to have the skill. beat china korea and especially australia and you'll be there. right now, team B or C and even juniors teams of these 3 countries can beat you.

  6. Filipinos have the good offense, but have really bad defense. Even with the height, I doubt they will make the NBA. They are worse than College players.

They have all those fancy moves, but they need basics.

  7. Filipino Center = American Shooting Guard/Small Forward

Also, a championship PBA game can't even fill half of the arena. I 75% regret being Filipino because I'm small. But what else can I do? Weeping, whining, and crying won't do anything. I

  8. no

  9. Unfortunately the Philippines have no regulatory commission to really foresee the development of their players, Right now with the way things are going in the Olympics, RP cagers are seeing the glimpse of possibilities, we can win if use our speed, being small isn't a discrpancy if we learn to use it in our favor and that is favoring a faster paced game. The Philippines have good players, it's unfortunate that nobody really see the development of sport in the country.
