Is the Ruger LCP still backorderd?

is the ruger lcp still backorderd? or have they caught up with production so i can go purchase one without having to go on a waiting list?

Yes, they are still back-ordered, but, slowly making their way to smaller stores. The big chains that ordered hundreds won't get them till the entire order can be filled. The smaller stores that ordered a few seem to be getting about one every two weeks. I was lucky enough to find one back in March and I bought it. It is a great, reliable, easy to clean little gun.

They are over a half million guns behind.  I work at a large sporting goods store in Mich. and we have a waiting list of over 90!

There is a store in the Thumb, Bad Axe that has them for sale and on hand for $365.00.  Other than that store, in Mich., you will be lucky to find the gun.  There has to be a store somewhere else, but I only know of this one in Bad Axe, Randy's sport center.

If you need a "Ladies Carry Pistol" like the Ruger LCP, why not look at the Kel-Tec that Ruger copied when they designed theirs?

I'm being sarcastic of course, but the K-T is a good bit less and no worse in quality (not really saying much).
