  1. yes you can fire the hot .45 the ruger black hawk is a really strong framed revolver. but fire those loads in any colt 45 clones though.


  2. the new model blackhawk is capable of handling the 44 mag, as well as the 454 casull. the 45+p will be no problem for this gun, although the recoil on your hand may be!

Yes, the Ruger is capable of handling jacked up 45 LC.  Your limiting factor in reaching .44 mag velocity and pressure is the brass case of the .45LC.  It does not have the web or wall strength of the .44 mag.  Follow correct loading guide lines to avoid case rupture.  A 45 LC is not nor ever will be a 454 Casull either.

  4. That is the same frame that is used to build Freedom Arms 454 Casuls

    45+p is nothing

    The frame and cylinder are capable of magnum loads
