  1. No, it's just an excuse to legitimize their ambitions, while still not recognizing Kosovo.

    WOW, what logic!

Russia taunted Georgia until they cracked and made the first move. THIS was Russia's reason to "respond."

This was no response, it was a set-up!

Every military analyst has come to the conclusion that it would have taken AT LEAST a week's planning to carry out the offensive the Russians have made...

You might ask, "Why was Georgia set up?"

    - The answer lies with Georgia seeking NATO membership at Russia's doorstep!

  2. No, it is more related to the color of my eyes.

How the h**l can that be related?

Would you attack, and kill say, Mexicans just because Canada recognized North Korea?

Absolutely not. Unless, you already had in mind to attack Mexico and you want to confuse the public by blaming someone totally innocent. And that confusion works to your benefit, you're free to kill even more Mexicans until the public realizes that the one to blame is actually the criminal - the one that is killing people and not the one that only sets diplomatic relationship with another political entity.

  3.   No, it's related more to the only pipelines, (and future pipeline routes Putin has warned investors against) that don't pass through Russia or Iran between the Middle East and Europe, passing through the disputed territories. The same as China needs Kashmir for a pipeline route to the Middle East. Putin ideally wants to re-incorporate all former soviet states, at least those not yet part of NATO, Kosovo may be a tiny part, but then he cyber attacked and declared unofficial economic sanctions against Estonia and cut off the gas supply to Ukraine in the winter without any adverse effects on him, why should he fear reprisal now?
