Is the SAT prep software beneficial?

because i have a book and i feel that i'm too lazy to read it and the software might help since i'm more of a computer person.also i don't want to beg my mom to pay $3000 for a special SAT prep class. it's just too expensive and not worth it.please reply asap! i'm a senior in high school and i haven't taken the the sat yet.thanks =]
