For Ohio Northern for a scholarship program, it says you need a 3.5-4.0 gpa and an ACT score > 31 or SAT > 1360. A 31 is way better than a 1360. Does anyone know why it would be set up like this?

  1. For the SAT they are only looking at reading and math. the highest possible scored for that is 1600 so a 1360 is relatively high.

  2. probably to encourage people to take the sat

  3. because a SAT score is a sum of individual subject scores ans an ACT score is an accumulative grade
