You ask the right question in the wrong place. Why ? Your  technically specific Q. won't have much chance to be answered in this forum; at the same time you lose 5 points, and have to wait days to see if a relevant answer will come up.



My advice: Go to Google and type " Comments on Samsung P1000 Purple Digital Camera", right away you'll see lots of links leading you to discussions on that particular kind of digtal camera. Of course you need to be aware of "commercial teasers", but there are many good articles by knowledgeable camera experts too.  In short, Google is the source :)
