Is the Seventeen August 2008 issue out on newstands?

I heard no one with a subscription got it yet, and people have been saying it comes out July 8th.

But look at the website:

says its out now.

Has anyone seen it in stores?

it's not on newstands yet. all subscribers get there magazine before it is out on newstands. i havn't recieved mine yet. And i  went to Barnes n' noble yesterday and it wasn't there.

Yes, the August 2008 issue of Seventeen is on newsstands now, even though it doesn't officially come out until this Tuesday, July 8th.  I, for one, have a subscription and usually get the magazine about a week before it comes out on newsstands, but my mail has been on hold for about three days, so there's no telling when exactly or if my magazine came.

I haven't gotten it either but then again I do have a subscription so it may take a Little while. maybe the store you go to is just trying to get rid of the July issues....
