  1. no, he's going to be real good and they gave him a huge offer so he would sign right away and be on the team to play with brand.

it is a lot, but they had to do it for the team

  2. I do think so..and he is a young guy.... he is going to get better and  he is  their franchise player .... i don think they are paying to much.

  3. If they wanted to keep him they had no choice.

  4. At the time when Corey Maggette, Luol Deng and Emeka Okafor received overpaid contract, and even Josh Childress got an incredible amount from Olympiakos, plus Iggy himself as an integral part in Sixers, this is an expected outcome to overpay him.

Would Iggy be able to make himself worth the money? A real big question mark as I don't see him to be a true franchise player in a contender, yet it is optimistic that he could be the highly reliable Scottie Pippen in future.

Hawks should thank God that they only need to committ $58 million to Josh Smith for the next 5 years.

  5. Yeah way overpaid. Wasn't it 6 years for 80 million dollars? That's about 13.3 million dollars for a year? Monta Ellis is getting paid 6 years for 66 million dollars and he has a better future than Iguodala. I think Iguodala is getting overpaid, but not it's not ridiculous.

  6. I don't think so. He's their go to guy for a reason. If they feel that they should pay him that amount, then they're right.
