  1. God Save the Queen doesn't mention any of the countries involved in the lyrics. Just the monarch.


  2. With 200 plus countries worldwide and so many national anthems, there must be quite a number that just happen not to include the nation's name in the lyrics. Malaysia is also one of those whose lyrics don't have the country's name.  

  3. Hey dude there's a good link below on national anthems....plus some national anthems have no official lyrics at all, including those of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spain, and San Marino.

  4. nope. there are other national anthems that don't mention that country name, such as:

    God Save the Queen (Great Britain)

    HaTikvah (Israel, the song mention about Zion and Jerusalem but not Israel itself)

    KimiGayo (Japan)

    I believe there is more.


  5. Nope, some others don't.  You can check them all out at this site, but I've noticed Andorra, England (although UK is the nation) and Egypt, but there are probably others.
