Is the Sun Tracker Party Barge 20 a good pontoon boat?

Also, does Sun Tracker really have a no haggle policy? If it says $12,000 does really mean that is what I am going to pay for it?

Sun Tracker are on the very low end of pontoons.  Also - since they are in a way a "mail order" boat, you would need to make sure you have a good marina around for any work.  I would look into Godfrey Pontoons or Bennington - Godfrey has a line called Tuscany that is relative in price, but over all much better quality.  A VERY important thing to look at when buying a pontoon is the welds (since this holds the boat together) and the deck and beams, and whether they are thru bolted.  You will notice on a Sun Tracker the welds are rough - they are usually full length welds (opposed to spot welds), which can cause problems down the road.  If you are looking to spend 12K go check out Godfrey and Bennington, you will thank me in a few years
