Is the TaylorMade Burner worth it?

as of right now, i can drive the ball 240-260 yards with a Dunlop driver that came with set. considering the fact that the burner is now $100 cheaper, i thought that it would be a great buy to help get extra distance. my parents, however, think that getting this club is a waste of money. so, who to you agree with? me, saything that this is a great club at a great price, or my parents, saying its a waste of money?

Honestly....If you are driving 240 - 260....I don't see anything wrong with your present driver..... That said.....A lot of folks like the Burner..... a bunch don't.  Its a personal choice issue.  Good luck with your parents.

I think your parents are right, buying the TM Burner is a waste of money since your hitting your driver 240-260 yards. How much are you going to gain 15 to 20 yards more. Stick what you have right now and $199 is lot money.

If it is not your money, it is a waste. Don't get it until you earn it. It will be much more rewarding that way. And you won't be stuck with it if it doesn't work. You can return it for exchange. If they buy it, you better keep it. Even if it doesn't work. I say always buy your own clubs, and if you can't afford them, wait.
