Is the Telus science world near a beach?

i haven't been to science world in awhile, and i cant remember whether or not its near a beach.

  1. The one in Vancouver  B.C.is near water. The Telus Science World is near southeastern portion of the False Creek area which  is currently being renovated in preparation for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Every June, the Dragon Boat Festival is held on False Creek. Also, False Creek is where the Vancouver College Rowing Team holds most of its practices.

    The one in Calgary offers exciting camps...and due to such growth and popularity is building a new facility due to open in 2011.
