Is the The Secret Garden (1993) not the best movie ever?

I Love everything about this movie! The songs the girl EVERYTHING, they could not have made it any better so why is there a new Secret Garden movie? I got annoyed when i saw the New one at the movie shop and couldnt even see the old one:( and the new one looks c**p.

Who agrees they should have never made a new one? Because the first one was just perfect so why redo it?

Compared to "The Man Who Would Be King"?  No.  Sheer magnificence.

I'd actually rate "The Princess Bride" ahead of "The Secret Garden".

But I agree about re-makes.  The only ones that stand out for me are the two versions of "The Prisoner of Zenda" and "The Thomas Crown Affair."

That's the original one, right? I loved it <3 The boy got on my nerves sometimes, but I think that was the point.
