Or is it just media fluff to make us feel a false sense of security. Here in Houston it seems to be the opposite and as far as I can tell we are losing the war.

  1. Its media fluff and lies.

  2. its a half truth half lie, here is why, there is absolutely a decrease in immigration numbers today than they where a year or two ago, now does that really mean that the tide is reversed? Id say that's an exaggeration. Although tougher controls and increase xenophobia in the US are partly a reason why this goes on. I would argue  that its mostly because the down turn of the US economy.

Here is the thing.. it does not matter how hard we try people will keep coming for job opportunities (as some people like to say here "theeeey toooook r juuuubs" )

  3. The good news:  I think it is being reversed--slowly.  They do get that America is fed up with illegal immigration and is taking more steps.

The bad news:  once here, they multiple like crazy.  The love that birthright citizenship part of the US.

  4. Snap dude!.. the U'K' is the same it's only decreasing here because of the mini recession we seem to be having, once the work and the easy to get hand outs and credit pick up again so will the flood of immigrants..

  5. There may be less of them coming over, but the ones that are here will be staying unless conditions change.

  6. I hope so, I think it is a little at a time.

  7. I think the ones who were coming only for the 'amnesty' have left.

  8. NO!

My tio Jesus will be here in a few weeks.

  9. There was never a tide! and it's just Fluff. They want you to think that all the laws, new plans and media coverage is working to scare them away. It's election year! The people are p*ssed enough already because their tax dollars have gone to waste on things like the million dollar "Virtual Fence", so they have to give the tax payers a warm fuzzy feeling.
