Is the Twilight movie coming out earlier in Australia?

I thought it would maybe come out earlier than January 8 because the release date is now earlier in America.

Please yes! I'm going to France the day before it comes out which is really annoying.

Yes Elly you are correct the release date has been moved from December 12th of this year in America to fill in the vacant spot that Harry Potter left on November 21st. This means that the official release date has also moved up to December 11th in Australia, nationwide. I'm not bluffing, you can find the details on the following website:

on steph m myspace she said she did not know about international dates changing and that she would let everyone know if she finds out they change, according to her but she isnt in charge

The Twilight Movie release date has been changed due to the Harry Potter movie now being released in America's Summer rather than Thanksgiving. Twilight is being released earlier as there is a spot in the Cinemas for it.

The Twilight Movie is now being released on December 11, 2008

Also, I believe the Australian Premier for the movie will be on Melbourne. (I am not entirely sure about this so don't hold me on it)
