Is the Twilight series by Stephanie Mayer for girls? ?

The book seems interesting and it so popular they are making a movie too. But i see mostly girls reading it.

Personally, I would say it is for girls just because it's been more appealing to girls than boys due to the romantic aspect of the book. It's mostly romance, which boys stereotypical *don't* like.

Anyway, if you want to read it I'd say go ahead as long as you know what you're getting yourself into. It's a lot of gooey fluffy romance that even I couldn't handle. But I don't think a book should be aimed to only one gender.

Boys read it too and enjoy it just as much. I have a friend who likes the books even though I didn't. Good ahead if you want.

I'm thinking it's targeted more for girls, but no, it's not limited to just girls. Guys could read it and enjoy it too, I believe. After all, there is action and suspense. It's just a romance, which usually tends to turn guys off.

and i think that there some guys that read the series to.

like all the guys at my school saw the girls reading it so they started to read and they loved it.

also i think that the only reasin a guy wouldnt want to be seen carrying it around is because he thinks that isnt manly

well yes many girls do read and love it for the romance and edward of course but i think it would be interesting for a guy to read to. I can relate to bella because im female but i wonder what a guys point of veiw is so go ahead read it let me know what you think!

A lot of girls read it (like me) but I did see this guy answer a Yahoo question like 'I love Twilight and Bella Swan!' Wow! He's got nerve to admit that on the internet...why can't more guys be like him!

It's a romance so typically girls like it better.   Actually guys might like it but just don't want to be seen reading it.

My guy friend read it and liked it (not loved it) but liked it and he went to one of the book release parties with me.  AND he wasn't g*y, I'm positive.

Hope you find a good read.  You might like Uglies, though.  The main characters a girl but a lot of boy I know aren't bothered by it, there's less romance than there is in Harry Potter.

It is most definantly for girls. It's more girly than pride and prejudice.

some people on this site(girls) will try and tell you its for boys too and it really has a good plot but that's not really true. it's almost totally romance.

No, its not just for girls. Guys can read it too. It has romance elements in it, but guys can like it too.
