  1. Yes, U.S. is on the decline as a superpower.  For example, we no longer have arm force to assist our own people through hurricane, tornadoes, earthquakes, terrorist threats or any mother nature surprises.

China is definitely going to override us.  I had traveled to China, and I was completely in awe of the changes of improvement China had made.  If U.S. continuing declining as Bush adminstration rate for another decade, we will become the third world country.

  2. with the pelosi/reid regime in charge ABSOLUTELY and its ten years ahead of schedule.  tax and spend, cut and run and the type of socialist diatribe that passes for policy has a disastrous effedt and no place here in the us.

  3. Rascism, greed, injustice, inequity's, enviousness, jealousy, corruption, troublessness, ineptitude, extremeism, nationalism, secularism, security hogwashism, bureaucracy, unfaithlessness, family famialdefenctionality, autoexculiveiality, roustiness, painamiliaiativeiliness, egothraticogenenctricityness,

  4. Nope.  It'll take the likes of a democratic (and politically stable), economically sound China to knock us offa the top of the heap.

  5. all your base are belong to us

  6. No.

  7. USA may be on a decline, but its superpower status is not going to go away for a while. China nor India can neither become a superpower because they have a huge chunk of people in poverty compared to the US where only less than 4 percent are in poverty. China and India have to overcome its poverty levels to actually succeed economically and eventually internationally. The USA still holds the largest military and economy in the world and its going to be a while till it declines.

  8. Yes ... we're a nation of generally lazy and pampered people, and the illegal Mexicans are determined to capsize our boat, so to speak, not to mention stupid Bush and his Iraq War alienating most of our allies, and his nonexistent foreign policy, and stretching our military to the breaking point ... it's only a matter of time before Russia and China team up and kick our butt ...

... sure, they'll have a h**l of a fight on their hands if they invade, and it'll be a long and bloody conflict, but they will overwhelm us by sheer numbers and we will have to admit defeat.

Think about the American people that made up the World War II generation ... the U.S. is just not made up of that caliber of people on a widescale ... we're too diverse a nation.  Just like when the Native Indians wouldn't band together to defeat the invading white man ... we owned them soon after.  The same will happen to us, on many levels.

    In our lifetime.  Nice, huh?

  9. What makes a superpower?

Is EU , China, or India a superpower?

Can the EU, China, or India force their will upon other nations? The US certainly can, and has. The USSR did. Germany's Third Reich did. The British Empire did. Rome did. Greece under Alexander the Great did. Mongolia under Ghengis Khan did.

China did with the world power Tibet. The EU has not done that yet. India has not done that yet. In my mind none of the nations you mentions rates being a "superpower" yet.

    Brazil?

  10. The day Brazil and India passes us up i will be concerned.

We are not quite a third world country yet.

The E. U. ?  China?  Yes indeed , the could pass us up and I for one am okay with it . Who cares?

  11. No. Just stronger rivals, or competitors, if you prefer.
