You must be Mexican to be making such a silly argument, I am guessing you want California back (to expand Mexican colonialism, right?)  How convenient of you to completely ignore the fact that Puerto Rico is completely free to break away from the US at any time and become an independent nation (or rejoin Spain, the former colonial owner if they wanted to).  The same applies to other US territories, like Samoa.  These places dont want to break away, and reject that opportunity time and time again.
