Is the UAE mission visa multiple entry?

Question

I was given a 3 month mission visa to enter Dubai in June 2008 and i went to Dubai - did the medical and labour card registration. After a month, I left Dubai to the U.S on holiday, and I'm not sure if i can re-enter Dubai on the same visa. Someone told me that i have to cancel the mission visa and reapply for a new one (even though its not expired yet). How do i go about this, as i have to return to Dubai as soon as possible
