  1. You can test yourself here:

    Good luck!!

  2. No the civic part is an oral exam. (someone asks you questions and you answer). The English is written.

  3. It was when I took it about 8 years ago and I believe it is today too. The citizenship test is not rocket science and frankly it is pretty hard for the average moderately intelligent person to fail it. This probably includes just about everyone with the skills to use Yahoo answers.  Not only were the questions pretty easy but the tester was also giving me hints.  I don't know if that will apply to everyone, but if you do some basic preparation I am sure you can make it through.

  4. i think so.

  5. Hello,

The citizenship test is NOT MULTIPLE CHOICE. You are asked questions verbally and must respond verbally. There is a list of about 100 questions provided by the USCIS (uscis.gov), and the immigration officer will ask you up to 10 questions at random from that list. You must answer verbally six of ten to pass.

Pay close attention to the questions that pertain to your state's government and politicians, as I heard they like to choose a couple of those.

It's not a very difficult test, however you will need to study the questions and answers. It has been shown that many "regular americans" fail to answer the questions correctly.

You can watch a video on that here: http://www.citizenship-questions.net/
