Is the USA is ready for a black president?

I really do not think that the US are ready for a black president. The world has not changed much in fact I think that now more than ever there is more hatred between race and religion than before. We seem to be living in the dark ages within the 21st century, Do I have a point?

  1. If they vote for one then they are ready.  The fact that he has secured his parties nomination and is ahead in the polls also suggests that people are willing to look past race.

  2. Yes - America is most certainly ready for a black president, a  native American president, a woman president, or a president of any ethnicity that met the qualifications to run.

What it is not ready for is one who is outrageously bigoted against others - such as white people.

Americans will not put into office another president who is culturally divisive - we are sick of that c**p.   We just want a good president...one that cares about ALL the people of the land....

Thankfully Michelle opened her big mouth and let it slip what she thought about America (and never being proud of it) and the media actually had the gall to do a little investigative research about what type of character that stood a seriously good chance of living in the White House as leader of the most powerful nation on the planet.

Funny thing is - I was actually gonna vote for Obama....WHEW - Thanks Michelle for letting me know prior to voting what kind of mistake I was gonna make!!!

  3. Stupid racist redneck republicans...no.  everyone else...yes

Thought I would go there and get down to their level on criticizing yeah not too clever of me but oh well

  4. Sure, but we want one that has THIS country's best interest as a priority.  Odumber is more concerned about Kenya and his own advancement.

  5. Yes.  The fact that some prejudice exists in no reason to avoid electing women or minorities or  members of certain religions or g**s or anybody else if they are the best candidate.

  6. Yes, but can we wait and pick one that is not racist?

  7. Yes, I do think that we are ready for Barack Obama.

  8. We're ready.  It just has to be a decent candidate.. and Obama isn't.

Obama has a history of racist comments and associations.  Does anybody think "black America" would be willing to embrace a former member of the KKK who waves people off as a "typical black person" in his books?  But somehow they expect "white America" to do the same?

We need a candidate who hasn't tainted himself with racism, who has some experience in national government, and who has policies that would benefit the US.

  9. Why? Are we going to get one?

  10. America will be ready for a black President, when his/her race isn't an issue to most Americans, and that will be a LONG time from now.

  11. What's to be ready for?

  12. I think the USA IS ready for a black president. But not the socialist, anti-American racist Obama. Now if Condi Rice was running, she would get my vote in a heartbeat.

  13. I think the nation for the most part is ready. I don't think it's ready for the one currently running just b/c of his socialistic policies and not b/c of his race. I actually disagree about more hatred now between races and religion than ever. There however is a perception that there is b/c it is so much more widely reported on now(due the 24hr news cycle) than is was years 30+ years ago making it seem that way.

  14. The US is ready and willing to elect a Black President.

If Obama loses fair and square, and the Blacks start burning down the cities, AGAIN, then we will not see another Black candidate make it passed the primaries for another 40 years.
