Is the USA more interested in Death (Law) than in Life (Grace)?

It seems they legalize drugs that kill,

but also criminalize plants that don't;

$pend more on jails than on education,

prefer to be under law than under grace,

(America is a nation under law: GW Bush)

not knowing law worketh wrath to come,

on them who say Peace & safety in law.

  1. Soooooo.  You want to give an example of a legalized drug that kills and compare that to an example of a criminalized plant that doesn't?

    Or were you just wanting to rant about the fact that you can't smoke your pot?

    Jails are funded locally, not federally.  Prisons are funded federally and once you differentiate jails and prisons then the government does NOT spend more on prisons than education.  They might as well, though since they keep throwing more and more money at the education system and it gets worse and worse.

    BTW, what does this question have to do with R & S?
