Is the United Kingdom a country, it does not have a flag, or an anthem, but it does have a passport?

OK, I'm British, English to be more precise, but my passport is a UK?, no anthem, or flag, why?...or does the name on a passport Great Britian upset the world...or is this PC gone mad...?????

I see that Yahoo has answers international has a British flag for the UK...wrong...The United Kingdom does not have a flag what is showing is a British flag....United Kingdom consists of Great Britian and Northern Ireland, can the world please get this right

it's a mash up of four different countries to make it look bigger. they eat bangers and mash and holy queen is their national grandmother. simon cowell is from there.
