  1. I don't think so.  The legal process is flawed, and the enforcement on illegal immigration is lacking.

  2. Deport  the illegals and stop that stupid Diversity Visa Lottery. At least for some years.I think the US is the only country which gives permanent resident  cards away like this (of course you need to fulfill the requirements). In case you don't know what the Diversity Lotterie is ...

    btw

I'm a legal immigrant from Germany, but I have to say you Americans should be careful, not to loose your own identity with all this ppl here.Sometimes I think I am in Spain and not in the US.

  3. no they arent. They should limit the number of people that are allowed over here, visa's should be limited and should have a specific time limit and then not be renewable. People found here illegally should be immediately deported. This should be enforced. If they commit crimes, or start dealing drugs, the visa should be revoked.

  4. Not illegal immigration, but thanks to great Americans writing their congressman and senator things will change, its a must.

  5. Catherine said it all for me! I agree completly with her.

  6. I agree with deport, deport, deport.  But more than that I don't believe we should allow such massive number of immigrants entry.  A great deal of evidence indicates those immigrants wind up on welfare far to frequently (a reflection of the educational level of this country coupled to the technical level of this country... both of which most immigrants do not have.).  In addition to the sheer difficulty of dealing with our society, there are very significant questions about the environmental consequences of expanding out population.

Congress, and that is the Republican and Democratic Party, both believe the only way to prosperity is via an expanding population.  That, folks, is balderdash.  When you ask the poor in the overpopulated countries of India, Mexico, and a few dozen other such countries, you discover correctly individual opportunity begins decreasing as the government required to deal with that population increases.  It is catch 22.. and we are going the wrong way.

We need a  national ballot initiative that we might take that headlong plunge into the unknown in our own hands and make the decisions about immigration a... National.... decision rather than the decision of business, special interest groups, and propaganda artists/lobby groups in Washington D.C.

Tell someone if you agree.. because this is becoming the year of change and this one needs changing far more than any other item on the docket!

  7. No,we should be cracking down a lot more and seeing deportations by the bus loads.

  8. No more force is needed.

  9. Legal or illigal?

Legal immigration process (DV lottery, family sponsered, employment based, refugee and asylum based) works fine, it needs improvement in quality and speed of service

Not much is being done about illigal immigration at this time.

  10. they're dealing with it? you got a link to that because i haven't seen it.

  11. No! They should give them a path for a legal way to stay here.  Many people assume that they use up all the tax funded resources yet don't contribute.  So many research papers have published studies that suggest this is not the case, that they contribute more to the economy than they spend.  My husband, although he was legal, is from ecuador and I have been following this.  There are so many people that quote papers from websites that use those research papers out of content its mind boggling! How can I have children in this racist country!

Americans are ancestors of immigrants many of whom were illegal.   To make it in this country you don't need education or technical knowledge, thats crazy!  I have technical skill, 5 years of college yet would make more if I was in sales!  Most of these immigrants create more jobs because they open up small businesses, they have the drive and the ambition to make a better life for themselves unlike some americans who want to sit on their lazy bum and express the most close minded, arrogant views. 9/11 happened and our southern borders were wide open and instead of "securing the borders" then they started a war with a country for no reason. These illegal immigrants, most of whom are, maybe it is not correct to say law abiding, but ten commandment abiding people that will change this country for the better! Also its hard to learn a new language, the fact that many of them pay taxes is a sign that they want to assimilate, the spanish language is not a cussword and some of them have a lot of education.

  12. No

    DEPORT Deport deport

  13. Joe Arpaio is..

  14. If you consider we admit over 1 million legal immigrants per year (which is more than the next three countries combined), I would say we are doing more than our share.

Canada by contrast admits less than 250,000 immigrants per year.

The factor that prevents us from increasing our legal immigrant quota is the 1.5 million illegals that sneak in.

  15. Its obvious that we are not dealing with immigration in a correct way. Not when a term such as "legal illegals" is being bandied about by supposedly intelligent people, many of whom are in positions of authority.

  16. Maybe not because too much people in housing in America
