  1. Meaning what? "Affairs" could mean anything.

    But we have our hands in many many things in Europe, like putting in the so-called Star Wars defensive missles in Eastern Europe, pissing off the Russians. We have diplomats in every European nation; we have gone to 2 wars with dozens of nations including Canada and Australia besides Europe--in Afghanistan and Iraq. We have military facilities in half a dozen countries including Germany and I think we still have one in Turkey.

    So you see why I ask, what do you mean by "affairs"?

    I think we should be involved in some and not in others. You must pick and choose because the State Department could probably give you a list of hundreds of things we are involved in in Europe.
