  1. UV light is bad but the dentist do not use UV light for any procedures. It is plane blue light used for light curing composit fillings.


  2. YES, it is very bad. We use protective eyewear when we are using those lights because it is not good to look at it.

  3. not so bad. but better not to look.

  4. looking into any light for extened periods of time is bad.

  5. A few seconds will not hurt but repeated and long exposure will over time.  Don't worry.
