of course its a great phone. I have an 8310 myself, which is a bit older version, but its a great phone.

Pros:

Good QWERTY keyboard for texting

The scrollball makes for easy navigation

Good camera

great Mp3/Media Player

Good Screen

Decent Battery Life

Durable

Great Email/Web browsing

Cons:

Trackball WILL get dirty

call quality isn't as great as the regular phones

Its a bit bigger in size than your average flip phone.

If you don't mind having a dirty trackball, go for it! i'm honestly addicted to mine, and wouldn't give it up for any other phone.
