  1. NOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't get the reason, its c**p. I don't think WeThePeople bikes are that good except from the 4seasons and Phoenix. Go for an Eastern there great bikes are quite cheap too for what you get. The Eastern Shovelhead is £280, £30 more than the WTP Reason and you get so much more. A lighter bike, 25-9t gearing, Slam Bars, Eastern Raptor Crank etc.

Just to let you know WeThePeople is owned by Mongoose and everyone knows how c**p Mongooses are

  2. i think josh M is right, the reason is c**p! compare to 4season and phoenix , there are both bestsellers bikes that i why i sell them, if u need i can supply u them the 4season and phoenix u can also check my store http://urbangears.ioffer.com

  3. Go for the We The People Addict.

its still close to your price range (i expect), and has a full CrMo(a steel alloy) frame.

You would probably also want a bike with a cassette rear hub,  and make sure you at least sit on it in store, and make sure YOU are happy with it. its about what YOU are comfortable with.

We The People is not owned by mongoose, and is actually ownhed in germany.

WTP is much better than eastern, which is low quality, and i have heard nothing but bad things about eastern bike from people who have actually ridden something to compare it with.

The eastern shovelhead is a trails bike, meaning it is for dirt jumping. seeings as you want a bike for street and vert, you will want something a little different.

Try looking at the fit pro park. i have one (but havent gotten a chance to ride it yet because of broken fingers) and people who own them seem to be very impressed.

Keep all these points in mind when you decide on a bike, and good luck

PS some brands that might be good to have a look at might be:

    Fit

    We The People

    Dk (Cleaveland or 4 pack)

also LISTEN to what the bike shop staff tell you. most likely they will be trying to fit you with something thats right, and not just the most expensive thing.

and if you can try to go to a shop that specilises in BMX's, and if not try not to go to a big chain bike shop, instead try to go to smaller localy owned stores. the people there are more likely to know what they are talking about.
