I just bought one.If it isn't don't be a jerk about it. I'll still use it at the driving range.

  1. I honestly can not answer this.  It does not appear in the list of non-conforming drivers on either the USGA nor the R&A......However it does not appear on the conforming driver lists either......If the displacement of the head exceeds 460 cc I would presume it to be not legal...... thats the best I can do for you.  The Google search provided a couple of sites but none of them list the displacement.

  2. it is a non-conforming club. not  just the driver, but the fairway woods. personally i dont think the golf channel should show this commercial. it should be on paid programming at 2 am from other network. to many people have been missinformed from this infomercial. some one will definatly notice this club, the damage to your reputation will be very hard to restore. i think your coach would notice prior to tee off . have great season.

  3. I didn't do any research, but I don't think the Hammer is legal because it exceeds the USGA's maximum headsize of 460cc.  The Hammer is over 500 if I recall the commercial correctly.

For a definitive answer, you might check the USGA's list of conforming and non-conforming drivers.
