my friend is one of them people that drinks lemonade outside abortion clinics until a girl goes in, then her and the rest of her church scream like h**l at her. shes one of them. we got into an argument a while back about the abortion pill. she asked me where to get one because im pregnant. if im pregnant, how would i know? lol. but anyways, the point is that she wanted one. they dont call it the abortion pill for nothing but she thinks its not the same because its not attached but its still messing with God's work. do you think shes a hypocrite?

  1. yes she is.  Just because its not attached doesn't mean its not fertilized.  Its job it to prevent a fertilized egg from attaching and thats not natural.  So if she is gonna have her beliefs she isn't allowed to pick and choose which one suits her life.

  2. Absolutely she's a hypocrite.

An abortion is an abortion, pill or surgical, both have the result of terminating a pregnancy.

  3. She sounds like an incredible hypocrite to me!

Fancy standing outside an abortion clinic abusing people going in, I'm sure that this would be against the law!

Why are you still friends with her?  (You don't have to answer that!)

    Best to you,

    Dave.

  4. Whether it's a chemical abortion or a surgical abortion, the result is the same.

  5. I think you are referring to the morning after pill, which is not an abortion as it prevents fertilization and implantation - the "attached" part that you mention. It does not end pregnancy, only prevents.

There is an abortion pill which you can take before 8 weeks, which does end an active pregnancy, but I don't think that is what your friend is asking you about.

The morning after pill is available at most pharmacies and at planned parenthood and other women's clinics.  You can usually call your gynecologist's office and ask them to call in a prescription for you if you are under 18.

  6. Yes she is first for wanting the abortion pill and second if she thought she was pregnant that violates what the church is teaching her about waiting till marriage for s*x.

  7. The abortion she is trying to obtain for herself is a medical abortion, which is only available for the first 8 weeks or so of a pregnancy, it basically causes a miscarriage.  If your friend is pro-life than she should be against this too, which would make her a big hypocrite.  However, many people only are pro-life as long as it doesn't affect them or someone they love...they love to tell the rest of the world what to do with their bodies, but of course it doesn't apply to them.

The morning after pill is a totally different thing (someone had mentioned it in a previous answer) this is a high dose of birth control which prevents a fertilized egg from attaching itself.  The morning after pill can only be used up to 72 hours after an incidence of unprotected intercourse.

  8. I agree with those who posted that the abortion pill is the same as the abortion procedure.

  9. If the pill is called an abortion pill, its the same. Especially if she knows she is pregnant and has already concieved. Now I know they also have a pill that is called the day after pill and you get it at the pharmacy, but its a pill that you take the day after you had intercourse and your scared you will concieve. It basically stops you from getting pregnant, but to answer your question I think its the same and if she yelled about it before, it is hypocritical.

  10. It depends on who you ask.   Catholics believe it is the same thing and so do most religions.

Yes.  She is a hyprocrite if she thinks its wrong to get an abortion but will take the abortion pill.   That's why they call it the morning after pill.   It also can have serious side effects so it may not be a walk in the park.   Just don't put yourself in the position that you need to do this.

It depends on when she feels that life starts.  Is it at conception or 9 months later.
