Is the afl footy record BOOK worth $39.95?

has anybody seen or bought the book, its the history and stats from 1897 - 2007

is it this price in other states to buy or is sydney just a rip off

  2. I have the history of league book,,I think it was around $30.00.

    I have not seen the history of alf book yet but I reckon the price is probably right,,I doubt it would vary too much between states

  3. there is alot of information in that book the price sounds reasonable to me, all the teams and stuff and ofcourse tad bits of random info like there has been a side to win both premiership and wooden spoon in just the one year

  4. I have every year's copy since 1995. It is essential for knowledge on each player and the history. I haven't ordered one yet from the league, but it should be coming soon. It is worth every penny if you are a statistics, trivia, history reader like I am.

  5. I saw it here in Adelaide last weekend for the same price but i left it at the newsagents.

    The Advertiser and the Herald Sun put about a 32 page magazine in their papers about a week or two before the season starts that gives the details of every player on each teams list and the games they've played and the goals they've scored etc. so i'll just wait for that.
