Is the age that you can get your L's really changing?

In my year level, everyone has been saying that te age in which you can get your L's in Victoria is going to 17? They remain adamant that it is true, could anyone tell me what's really happening? thanks!

I used to work for VicRoads up until a couple of months ago. It's not true. The time you are on your P's is increasing by a year. You'll also need to fill in a log book.

yer that rumour went around my school as well, its not true, bu alot of things are changing with new restrictions and all so i recommend booking your test asap when you turn 16 so u dont put it off for months nd get stuck with all the restrictions
