  1. this is to be asked at the time of your interview with the employer...

  2. They do and generally are the junkiest, cheapest, crappiest hotels they can find.  Probably no food in the hotel or even nearby, particularly if it's raining or snowing -- you'll have to walk as the van driver won't take you there.

Stayed in one that had it's own police station.  Three stories, no elevator -- you can just lug all that c**p up the stairs.

    I could go on....

  3. They sure do! And when the flight is cancelled the room is still booked so airport employees get to have a party downtown.

  4. Yes, they is.

  5. Airlines pay for hotels while on your duty. These are all arranged by the airline. Most airlines work on a per-diem basis for food. Its usually $1-2 per hour away from home. This is of course in addition to your actual flght duty pay. You essentially pay for your food but they give you a check at the end of the month for your per-diem.

  6. Yes. They do provide hotel accomodation when there is a stopover. Like if you are flying from London to Paris and the next day from Paris to London, there is accomodation because it is still considered a working time.
