Besides, you are probably over-reacting to the British policies anyway. "Corrupt" means that government people are constantly look ing for bribes, like in Russia or Egypt. You don't know what corruption really is.

I would have to say that "corrupt" is far to strong but of course all  governments try to lead the people down the road that that they want us to go.

Miss managed is also seen all governments but on the other hand all country's have to be run as a huge company and with so much that needs to be managed things do go wrong and some individuals "make the most of opportunities"  at times and branches of the government abuse there power but by enlarge corruption is not rife

We have it worse than you do.  At least you have the ability to vote for the Conservatives or Liberal Democrats.  Our Democrat Party simply supports virtually the same thing as the Republicans and yet the media constantly whines about the need for more "bipartisanship."

We have a choice between high taxes and higher taxes. A choice between War in Iran and Afghanistan and War in Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan.  A choice between socialist medicine, socialist anti-speculator laws, and socialist anti-short selling laws or socialist anti-speculator laws and socialist anti-short selling laws.  We have a choice between warrantless spying and illegal detention or more warrentless spying and illegal detention.  We have a choice between banning smoking and drugs or banning smoking, fatty foods, and drugs.

We're very likely to get a North American Union soon as well (one of our few good politicians, Ron Paul, has been warning us about this; of course the Republicrat Party will never let him get a nomination for president).

My advice is to get rid of the National Socialist Labour Party during your next election and hand them a defeat so bad that the Lib Dems become the main opposition party.

The American government has deteriorated into a government in which one party supports something (anything) and the other party opposes it. Nothing is done for the citizens of this country. It's all done by and for politicians.
