Is the ankh cross a Christian cross?

No. The Cristian cross is derived from the Roman cross used for capital punishment. The ankh is much older and is an Egyptian symbol for Life, epsecially eternal life. The only connection between the two is in their symbolic meaning: Christians adopted the Roman cross because Jesus died on one, but then rose again.
The acceptance of the ankh as a Christian symbol differs. I personally I have no problem with it as a symbolic image for eternal life, however I know other Christians who hate it.
